About Ricoh WG-6 Digital Camera

Ricoh WG-6 is an all-weather extreme compact camera that is waterproof, shockproof, freeze-proof, and crush-proof. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or professionals working in challenging environments like construction sites and civil engineering, the WG-6 is the toughest model in the WG series thanks to its enhanced durability and rugged design.

The WG-6 is available in two stylish color options: Orange or Black.

Rugged Body Design

Waterproof down to 20m (65ft), shockproof at 2.1m (6ft), freeze-proof to -10°C (14°F), and crush-proof up to 100kgf (220lb), the WG-6 sets a new toughness standard in the WG series.

Advanced Camera Performance

Equipped with approx. 20 effective megapixels and 5x optical zoom (28mm – 140mm), the WG-6 captures clear, low-noise images with wide dynamic range thanks to its high-performance lens and back-illuminated CMOS sensor. GPS capability is also built-in for precise location tracking.

Multifunctional LED Ring Light

The WG-6 features 6 variable brightness LED lights surrounding the lens—10x brighter than the WG-60. These lights are perfect for food, portraits, close-ups, super-macro shots (as close as 1cm), and creative effects. Brightness can be adjusted in 10 increments, and direction (all, left, right, top, bottom) can be customized.

Improved Operability

Designed for use even with gloves, the WG-6 has raised control buttons, a new ADJ button for quick access to frequently used functions, and an easy-to-operate mode dial. Screen brightness can be adjusted to adapt to varying light conditions. Date and copyright imprinting are also supported.

Business & Industrial Use

Thanks to its chemical resistance, the WG-6 can be disinfected using ethanol, sodium hypochlorite, or chloride dioxide. This makes it ideal for professional environments such as construction sites and industrial use cases.

Advanced Video Capture

Records stunning 4K video at 30fps. Underwater mode optimizes colors for subsurface shooting. With the Movie SR+ (Electronic Gimbal) stabilization system, videos look natural and shake is significantly reduced compared to conventional systems.

High-Accuracy GPS

Equipped with an upgraded GPS system supporting SBAS and QZSS, the WG-6 delivers faster and more accurate location data. Location info can be embedded directly into images.
